第125回日本森林学会大会における特別セッション「男女共同参画の実現からダイバーシティの推進へ　～100年後の森林と人類のために、森林分野のあり方を考える～」にて、「森林分野におけるダイバーシティ推進宣言」が採択されました。

私達は、森林と人間社会のよりよい関係を築くために、男女を問わず多様な人々が森林の利用や管理、森林に関わる活動や各種の意思決定に参画することが重要だと考えます。

私達は、日本森林学会とともに、森林の機能や価値、森林生態系の多様性と同時に、森林と関わる人々が多様であることを尊重し、関連する様々な分野や組織と連携し、国内外の森林分野における人々のダイバーシティを尊重した取り組みを推進し、森林と人類のよりよい未来に貢献していきます。

The JFS Promoting Diversity Declaration

We believe that the diversification of people in forest use, forest management, other forest activities, and in decision-making in the forest arena are crucial to ensure a better future relationship of forests and human society.

We, together with the Japanese Forest Society, respect the diversity of people in the forest arena as well as the biodiversity and manifold value of forests. We will contribute to a better future for forests and humankind by promoting diversity both domestically and internationally in the forest arena in collaboration with related fields and organizations.
