Development of cytoplasmic DNA markers for identification of cross-species hybrid between Larix gmelinii (Rupr.) Kuzen. var. olgensis (A.Henry) and Larix kaempferi (Lamb.)

| 要旨本文 |
Larix gmelinii var. olgensis and Larix kaempferi are conifer tree species native to Norther in Korean Peninsula and subalpine areas in central Honshu, Japan. Both of two species have been planted in Republic of Korea. It was reported that cross-species hybrid occurred between two species in Japan study. Two species had been distinguished based on cone morphological characteristics. However, There is a limit to applied both young trees or cross-species. This study conducted to develop DNA markers for identification not only species but also cross-species hybrid species. SNP markers between two species were developed in chloroplast and mitochondrial DNA. These cytoplasmic DNA markers are useful for identifying both mother tree and cross species hybridization from cone in planted site. |
