要旨本文	Japan has been actively promoting the multiple uses of timber to efficiently utilize its domestic forestry resources and contribute to its climate commitments. Cross-laminated timber (CLT) has received wide attention in Japan because of its unique structural properties and environmental advantages. CLT’s value chain involves various industries, including forestry, timber processing, transportation, construction, and civil engineering. However, the economic impacts of CLT associated with the increasing production and price are ambiguous. This study evaluated and predicted the economic impacts of CLT manufacturing in Japan in reaching the government target price and specific production through input-output analysis. The result showed that the economic impact of price on CLT manufacturing is higher when production is lower; and the economic impact of price on CLT manufacturing will gradually decreases when production increases.
