要旨本文	Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are involved in plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses, as well as plant immunity. However, the potential function of lncRNAs in ectomycorrhizal (ECM) formation remains unclear. In this study, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of lncRNAs in Populus tomentosa inoculated with Cenococcum geophilum (Cg). We identified 334 differentially expressed lncRNAs along with their corresponding 595 potential target mRNAs with differential expression between Cg inoculated and non-inoculated poplar roots. Functional predictions of these target mRNAs suggest that lncRNAs may be involved in regulating ECM formation through pathways such as plant hormones and flavonoid synthesis. In general, Cg inoculation-induced lncRNAs potentially play regulatory roles during the ECM formation.
