発表題目	森林の多面的機能の経済評価 Economic evaluation of the forest ecosystem services

要旨本文	Forest contributes to people through multiple ecosystem services. Understanding the social prioritization of multiple forest ecosystem services (FES) plays a key role in forest management under limited resources due to depopulation and aging. This study, therefore, unpacks the social prioritization of FES based on public preferences by applying a best-worst technique (BWS). This study also attempts to assess the value of thirteen FES by integrating a contingent valuation method (CVM) into BWS. The results show freshwater stock is the most appreciated as FES, followed by carbon storage and clean air; conversely, the Japanese consider forest function providing inspiration for culture and art to be the least important. The willingness to pay (WTPs) for freshwater stock, carbon storage, and clean air is around six hundred JPY. The findings indicate that regulating services has relatively high social prioritization.
